Spring Group Hike To Glen Onoko Falls at Jim Thorpe, PA

Glen Onoko Falls is not closed. But the trail to the falls is being rebuilt for safety.

That hasn't stopped hikers to trying to get a peak at the falls. And consequently, that's kept PA Park Rangers busy yelling at "tourists" to get out or risk getting fined.

So, we didn't see the falls. And the views suck. And the climb is too much for little payoff.

Oh and it's definitely not kid-friendly. But I apparently didn't get the memo and climbed that viewless, craggy, apparently "dangerous" trail on the hottest day with a 50 pound kid and carrier. Bruh.

We still love PA parks, but this may be our one and only visit to Glen Onoko Falls for this hike until they give us a better reason than a suffer-fest with no payoff.
