Winter Group Hike to Pine Meadow Lake

Your cheeks are so cold, it takes work to smile.⁠

Your nose immediately skips the dripping phase and goes right into "about to turn blue and fall off" phase.⁠

Any exposed skin will suffer in this cold. So lucky for me this group read all my instruction and bundled up so well, everyone was sweating throughout the hike.⁠

Not gonna lie, this kind of cold ain't for everyone. But for those who made that effort to get up pre-dawn for a pickup to get to a trailhead with me, ya'll are the reason I keep doing this. You guys inspire and motivate me every weekend and as long as you keep getting up, so will I.⁠

No matter the temps, it's still better than sitting behind your desk at work...⁠
