Winter Hike at Harriman State Park

...and we're back! Happy first hike of the year! (Shout out to Jin for the non-alc champaign to kick off this hike).

BTW, I asked everyone to be prepared to support the person next to them and that's exactly what everyone did.⁠

We could not have crossed that frozen creek without team work. ⁠
⁠
Some fam would have gotten frostbite if others didn't share their extra hand warmers. ⁠
⁠
And just being next to someone with positive vibes helps keep you going as the sun vanishes and temps drop.⁠
⁠
Group hikes are not just to "meet" people. They're a way to help support you when you're outside your comfort zone. They keep you motivated and interested. They make you laugh and keep you sane when you're doing crazy things, like hiking in freezing cold "for fun".⁠
