It's a full weekend of sampling all the adventure you can handle in a safe and responsible space, including bike trips, climbing, mindfulness, entertainment and more presented to you by the amazing and professional Outerthere Host Team!
Whether you're just starting out outdoors or you're pretty experienced but want a great way to get your friends to join you, this will be the most epic, fun and welcoming camping experience you'll ever try!

You can sign up to the day's activities separately with daily passes. But if you want to try everything, choose the Wknd Pass below to try everything all 3 days! You won't be able to sign up to individual activities this year. Sorry, fam.
You can choose to only try camping and just chillax; you do not have to sign up for any activities.
Roundtrip shuttle available from NYC on Friday and returning late on Sunday only. Shuttles will not return to NYC on Friday or Saturday. They will not pickup from NYC on Saturday or Sunday morning. Courtesy shuttles will be available to and from different activities and the New Paltz bus depot Saturday and Sunday (upon request, schedule TBD, reserve via Welcome email sent after you book this trip). 2% of your shuttle reservation will go towards supporting The Sharing Outdoor Spaces Fund. Masks enforced inside vehicles. This trip is included with your Ryde Pass.

This trip is accessible using public transit on Trailways. Roundtrip is $46. Buses depart all day starting 7am. It's an hour and 40 minute ride. Outerthere shuttles can pick you up from bus depot on Main Street in New Paltz upon request.
Driving there in your own vehicle? Parking is limited and traffic congestion is severe - like NYC during rush hour severe) in New Paltz. Sign up early, arrive early to avoid any issues.
The Campout is tent camping. That means that there will not be showers. There will be shared rinsing basins with fresh water and port-a-johns available for your convenience. Bring your own soap, water container and towel.
You do not have to camp at all. Looking for accommodations other than camping? Plenty of hotel and bed & breakfast options in town.
Campfire all day! But when you're at the fire pit, please adhere to our physical distancing and face covering policy below. Additionally, we ask that anyone who may want to use the campfire for food prep to limit your time to 20 minutes and kindly take turns to avoid a crowd of more than 8 people around the fire pit.

*Schedule is subject to change. Breaks and shuttling time are factored into schedule. Final times sent via Confirmation emails the week of the event. Final schedule will allow time to do each activity if you reserve the Wknd Pass. Wknd Pass holders and anyone who registered for climbing and any activity on Sunday morning: You won't have to chose between one or the other. You can use your credits to join us on the next available trip for the activity(ies) you missed. Speak to an on-site Outerthere Host for details.

**Purchase meals individually or with campout admission. All meals includes lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. There will be vegetarian option. Recyclable containers and eating utensils used. But, better yet, bring your own.
