Outkayak is hiring stand-by managers for our mobile rental service and tours across NY, CT and NJ.

Your average day consists of:

1. Setting up and fitting guests into their boats and safety equipment.
2. Hanging out at boat launches all day and/or run beginner-friendly tours.
3. Making new friends after getting them on the water. 

Must be available with 48 hours notice.

Must have their own vehicle and be able to get to different boat launches.

Full training will be provided. 

$50/hr without certifications, $60/with. Paid after each shift.

Bonus at the end of each season that company meets financial goals.

This is an independent contractor opportunity with growth opportunity to transition into other outdoor roles within the company after your first season and transition into full time after 2 consecutive seasons.

Equity options after 3 consecutive seasons, exercisable after 5 consecutive seasons.
