You are not alone and you should not raise your family by yourself. You need community. You need healing. And you need to reclaim your crown.
This trip is unlike anything we've done before. We're teaming up with the extraordinary reiki master, teacher and yogi Ivelise Namaste and indomitable mother, herbalist and yogi Rita Alexis for a series of family-friendly hikes focused taking parents/kids, grandparents/grandkids, aunties and uncles/nieces and nephews, guardians/wards through:
Interdependence, or building your community with your fam and mama earth;
A coronation ceremony to address generational trauma and embrace ancestral healing;
The body's energy.
You will feel empowered. You will feel community. And you will remember that you are Queens and Kings.
MORE ABOUT OUR PRESENTERS (IN THEIR WORDS)
"An Afro-Latinx educator, artist and healer, Ivelise Namaste was born and raised in NYC. She currently teaches children with special needs from the Bronx. In addition, she offers Reiki Healing Circles, Meditation and Yoga classes to the public. In 2020, Ivelise had a vision to create floral crown ceremonies in which BIPOC communities can reclaim their “coronas” and connect with their divine inner spirit. Her dream is to continue this ancient practice and art of floral crowns, through meditative healing circles." Please follow her on YouTube and all social media platforms @ivelisenamaste.
"Rita is a native New Yorker, originally from Bogota Colombia. She is a passionate mother of two, previously owned and ran a Holistic daycare for over ten years. She loved to play and felt this was the only job she was able to still be a kid (with lots of music, nature and arts infused into her program)."
