Dutch Springs is an old abandoned limestone quarry used by an old cement factory. But, turns out, when they dug it, they didn’t expect to find a natural spring aquifer. For decades, that aquifer had always flooded the quarry, but imagine having to pump water out of your basement every couple years? So, the cement factory sold the entire site to a destination management company and for the last 40 years, it’s become an awesome waterpark and diving facility. Word. Bonus! If you dive, bring your certification card and gear, because you’re gonna dive, too!
